Prenatal Yoga in Vevey

For you, future mama

Prenatal yoga

If you’re reading this, you’re probably pregnant. So first of all:

Congratulations Mamma! You’re on the beautiful yet challenging journey of motherhood.

Prenatal yoga is a space to take care of your rapidly changing body and to enhance your well-being during this journey.

In my classes, you learn new postures and breathing techniques to move in ways that support your body rather than add more pressure than already exists during pregnancy. I use the De Gasquet method, which is also helpful in relieving physical pain that may arise during pregnancy.

Prenatal yoga classes are also a space to prepare your body for birth and postpartum. We use nursing pillow, Swiss balls and only few poses that we see in traditional yoga classes.

One reason why these practices are so precious is that we co-create them together, according to your needs and where you are at on your pregnancy journey.

These prenatal yoga classes are also a safe space to meet and share with other people who live similar experiences. It’s becoming part of a village, to have a space to ask questions, feel reassured and take a moment to connect with yourself and your tiny human.

About me

Passionate about little humans, their development and parenthood, I chose most of my psychology courses at university on child development and the transition to parenthood. My second master in positive psychology and coaching psychology allowed me to study positive parenthood and education. This second master also equipped me with the tools to support people thanks to coaching. In short, I love the miracle of life and everything that goes with it (babies, parents, highs, lows, discovery, love and so much more).

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a free trial session available?

The trial session is available at a special rate of 20.-

How do I handle payment—directly with you?

Yes, payment can be made directly to me—cash or Twint is perfect. For multi-class cards, bank transfers are also an option.

Do I need to book my classes in advance?

Absolutely, registration is required and happens via the booking pages.

What if I’m signed up but can’t make it anymore?

You’ll find a cancellation link in your confirmation email. You can cancel up to 1 hour before class starts. Repeated no-shows without notice may result in the session being charged.

Can I drop in without registering?

To keep things organized, registration is required for all sessions. If you’re having trouble booking, just send me an email.

I didn’t receive a confirmation email after signing up—what should I do?

Did you finish the process? Double-check your spam folder—it might be hiding there!

Is the level suitable for beginners?

Of course! Sessions are always tailored to fit both beginners and seasoned yogis.

In what language are the classes held?

Classes are generally held in French, but I’m more than happy to offer them in bilingual French/English. Just let me know before the class starts.

Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?

All equipment is provided, except for Bains Payes practices. Don’t have a mat? Let me know! Otherwise, just bring your water bottle and good vibes!

Are the packs valid at all locations?

Packs are valid for classes at the Atika and Premier Étage spaces. The 6 and 12-session packs are reserved for perinatal practices, while the 5x “Bains Payes” packs are exclusively for those sessions.

If I buy a pack, do I need to attend consecutive weeks, or can I choose my own schedule?

No need to attend sessions consecutively—you’re free to manage your pack however it works best for you.

When is it safe to return to yoga after giving birth?

You can safely return to yoga as soon as you leave the maternity ward, even before pelvic floor rehabilitation—sessions are adapted for the early postpartum weeks, including after a cesarean. Plus, you’re welcome to bring your baby!

When is the best time to start yoga during pregnancy?

According to the De Gasquet method I teach, you can start prenatal yoga during the first trimester if it feels right for you. It’s all about listening to your body and emotions—whether that’s continuing your usual activities or starting when the time feels right.

Can health insurance cover the cost?

Coverage depends on your supplementary insurance. Ask me for a receipt and send it to your provider—sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

I have a disability—can the practices be tailored to my needs?

Absolutely! Practices are designed to be inclusive. Let me know in advance, and we’ll prepare to meet your needs perfectly.
